Using engraved print wheels is one of the most widely used methods for printing on insulated wire, cable, hose and tubing. The printing process is simple. A print wheel, revolving in a bath of ink, is wiped clean. Ink remaining in the engraved portion of the wheel is then transferred to the product.

Our print wheels are made of hardened steel, are precision ground, laser engraved and industrial hard chrome plated. Typesetting used in our engraving process is computer based, allowing us to utilize graphic programs to generate text, logos, alpha numeric characters, longitudinal stripes, hash marks, etc.

A reference number is engraved on the side of every print wheel, making print wheel identification & reordering easier.
